The apples produced in Iran come in various shapes and colors. Generally, apples have a round shape with a cavity at the top; some are perfectly round while others have a conical shape.
Additionally, some Iranian apples have knob-like lobes at the bottom of the calyx. Another characteristic of these apples is their firm flesh, which can be red, white, or yellowish-white. The skin of these apples is smooth and shiny.
The skin color can vary from yellow, green, and red to dark red, or a mix of these colors.
Apple trees are primarily planted in Urmia, Mashhad, Shemiran, and the Azerbaijan province. In Iran, the harvest seasons for apples are winter and summer.
Our company, MTTG Group, supplies the main varieties of Iranian apples, including Royal Gala, Red Delicious, Fuji, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Braeburn, Delbarestivale, and Golab apples.
If you don’t enjoy fresh apples or find it hard to eat an apple a day, we recommend trying the dried version.
